John is an Investment Executive at BVP, where he works across the full investment process – from sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities to conducting commercial and financial due diligence, structuring transactions, and supporting day-to-day portfolio relationships. He collaborates closely with management teams to assess risk, analyse business performance, and drive strong governance and reporting across the portfolio.
Before joining BVP, John gained experience across both traditional and alternative asset management. He worked at Mediolanum International Funds, rotating across fixed income and equity research, developing a strong foundation in market analysis, valuation, and investment modelling. He later spent time with KKR’s alternative credit platform, further strengthening his exposure to financial analysis and portfolio monitoring in a global investment environment.
John holds a Bachelor of Commerce from University College Dublin and an MSc in Finance from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. His combined experience across public markets, credit, and alternative investments supports a disciplined, analytical approach to sourcing and managing lending opportunities within Ireland’s technology and sustainability-driven SME ecosystem.
