Demand Side Management Service
Activation Energy’s unique Demand Side Management service provided a significant income stream for Commercial Energy Users with a Flexible Electricity Demand profile. Through Activation Energy’s Demand Side Unit, electricity users with a flexible load could receive guaranteed payments from Activation Energy in return for delivering temporary reductions in their national grid electricity consumption, at specific times during the year. Activation Energy clients could choose to provide this temporary Demand Reduction through either switching specific plant items off on request or using their own on-site power generation or, a combination of both approaches.
